It’s time! We are looking for someone to fill the Treasurer position on our Operational Committee! If this position is of interest to you, read on to find out more!

We are currently looking to recruit a Treasurer who will be responsible for the day-to-day management of Generator’s finances. No prior experience or knowledge of this role is necessary as you will be trained by the outgoing Treasurer, who will also still be on the committee to support you as you get a feel for the role. However, it is important that you have decent numeracy skills and an eye for attention to detail, and an understanding of Excel/Google Sheets would be beneficial. The bulk of the job involves processing and paying invoices and inputting the payment information into a Google Sheets database - so accuracy is very important.

As we operate in a non-hierarchical manner, the Treasurer is also able to engage in every aspect of running the space and our programme including curation, events management, fundraising, marketing, gallery outreach and administration. You will gain essential professional development experience as well as developing skills applicable to your own practice, but most importantly, you will be able to develop an invaluable community of peer support.

At this time, we can only accept applications from people based in Dundee or the surrounding area, as lots of on-site working is required.

It is important to note that this is currently a voluntary position.
