Generator invites you to find a fourth leaf, to find your chin revealing your love of butter, to find salt mercifully over your shoulder, to find no stone unturned, to knock and let it be opened unto you.
We are delighted to present our first exhibition in our third decade of supporting emerging artists, a duo show by Hannah Cutt and Oran Horne.
Having studied together at Grays School of Art, In the Crook of an Arm, brings their practices back into conversation with one another in a serendipitous exploration of resilience, chance, and fortune. Both artists peer into sites of personal transformation - considering their ecological, social, and cultural position materialised between stone and paper. Under such a process of transformation, everyday objects turn to sanctified vessels. Carrying, holding, and revealing, personal experiences so they may outpour into collective understanding.

First presented at Dnipro Center for Contemporary Culture for the 2025 Kyiv Biennial.
Everything for Everybody unites contemporary artworks exploring the politics and practices of archiving by Katya Buchatska, Lia Dostlieva, Sophia Gera and Kamila Yanar, Yana Kononova, Elias Parvulesco, Adrian Pepe, Clemens Poole, Selma Selman, Tako Taal and Ola Yeriemieieva, alongside two photographic archives from the UK and Ukraine: Franki Raffles (University of St Andrews), and Mykola Bilokon (Pokrovsk Historical Museum).
How do archives come into being? Who has access to their contents and who controls their meaning? How do archives form unique testimonies of places that have vanished or been destroyed? The backdrop to these questions is the reality of war, in which the Pokrovsk Historical Museum was evacuated. The city itself is now occupied by the Russian army. The title ‘Everything for Everybody’ – a phrase taken from Raffles’s archive – offers both promise and provocation: whose stories are we archiving now, and for whom? Rather than offering definitive answers, we aim to open a space in which diverse artistic practices exploring archival materials, family histories, and documentary practice intersect. We look beyond Ukraine’s borders to other contexts and geographies dealing with loss, the remnants of colonial pasts, and violent legacies. What new archives of solidarity can we build now, and what obstacles exist to their construction?
