CALL FOR COMMITTEE MEMBERS

DEADLINE: MONDAY 6th OCTOBER, 5pm
GENERATORprojects

Generator Projects is an artist led space based in Dundee. Our aims are to facilitate the demands of contemporary creative talent in the city, to support the artistic community in all its diversity and to provide a varied programme of exhibitions and events featuring the work of artists from across a national and international spectrum.

This is a voluntary role and as a committee member you will work as a team to programme an exciting calendar of events and exhibitions and will be engaged with every aspect of running the gallery including (but not limited to) fundraising, administration, exhibition install, curation, marketing and gallery outreach.

Committee members must be able to attend a committee meeting every Wednesday evening, a programming meeting on the first Tuesday of every month as well as being available to work during install leading up to exhibitions, and be able to invigilate shows once they are open. The maximum term that can be served on the committee is 2 years and it is expected that committee members are able to commit to this time scale.

Committee members will gain essential professional development experience and previous members have gone on to work in programme management, exhibitions management and curation, as well as gaining essential skills required for the development of their own artistic practice.

Applications from all creative backgrounds are welcomed and we highlight the importance of flexibility, motivation and commitment to the organisation.

Unfortunately committee positions are unavailable to students, however we always welcome volunteers who are keen to help with install and events.

If you are interested please send a CV and statement of interest to mail@generatorprojects.co.uk by 5pm, Monday 6th October. If you have any queries, or would like more information, please email the above address.

Location: Dundee City

For further information, please contact mail@generatorprojects.co.uk or visit www.generatorprojects.co.uk

The deadline is Monday 06 October 2014 at 17:00.
