In this era of uncertainty, following the financial crisis, this recently sacked ‘city banker’ sets up his own ‘back-office’ operation wherever he finds himself, engaging the audience in finding new ways to keep business going, whilst trying to demonstrate that bankers too are human after all! His main means of escape from the every day pressures of the financial world is a closet love of dancing. The broad pages of the Financial Times provide a rich resource in ongoing exploration of novel ways to crack the problems of the day. Peter McRae, through a balance of live art with improvisation, seeks to establish and maintain that elusive tension that defines performance.
