GENERATORprojects have set up a radio station and we would like to invite artists to submit proposals for a broadcasting slot. You are welcome to take a curatorial approach to this, piecing together a selection of works that you would like to present, or you may wish to submit one piece to broadcasted. As for what we’re looking for – anything goes, really. From poetry to music; energetic to tranquil; uplifting to thought-provoking; distraction to discussion; personal to collective. It doesn’t necessarily have to be quarantine or COVID-19 related, but if you want it to be, that also works for us.

Honestly, anything goes.

Your radio show need not be one-dimensional – in addition to Radio GEN, we have a vimeo and various social media platforms, which you may wish to use in collaboration with the radio show. You’d also have access to an associated forum, allowing you to make your project interactive, if you wanted to open up a discussion to the public. Above all, we want this to be an opportunity for you to share your creativity wide and far in order to create connections amongst this isolated community.

Please outline what you’d like your broadcast to be, including: roughly how long it would last / whether it would be durational or serial; who would be involved; and the nature of the broadcast.

You will be paid £172 for this opportunity.
